Edith Jennings

Eldest daughter of Arthur & Mary Jennings, born 13th April 1921at 7 Long Row, California Lane, in Barlborough, Derbyshire.

Married on 19th August 1944 at Barlborough Church to William (Bill) Gerrard (from Southam Oxon).

They had 4 children:

        Bernard (from Bill's first wife)

        Judith Mary

        Melvyn

        Valda

When they married they moved to Creswell, and first lived on Sheffield Road in the stone cottages on the left just before the railway bridge.

Later they moved into the top half of the Model Village (inner circle)

At this moment in time, Edith is residing in Autumn Grange nursing home in Creswell.

Bill died some years ago.
