ANNIE DOWD

Annie was the second daughter born to Patrick and Ellen. She was born on 16th May 1895 whilst the family were residing at Foundry Yard, West Auckland.

Annie married for the first time in 1919, to William James Abbey. (see picture right).

They had two girls: Lillian (Lilly) born in 1920 and Ellen May (Peggy) on 2nd May 1924.  

In 1942 Annie married Thomas Robson.

Peggy married Joseph Farrey in 1951 and had a son Thomas William

Annie sadly passed away on 9th January 1987 age 91. She is buried at Harelaw Cemetary, Stanley, Co. Durham
